Who we are & what we value

About Us

Bloomwolf Studio is a Latina-owned illustration and design studio based in Orlando, founded in 2015 by illustrator Betsy Garcia with the support of her husband and business partner, Luis Sosa.

The studio began when Betsy made the life-changing decision to return to illustration—a passion she had not pursued in years. With no formal art training, but with Luis’s unwavering encouragement, she began drawing again in the summer of 2015. What started as a creative rediscovery quickly became a clear calling: to build a life centered around art, storytelling, and meaningful design.

Since then, Bloomwolf Studio has grown into a nationally recognized creative business, exhibiting at major trade shows, participating in hundreds of pop-up markets, and placing its products in more than 1,000 independent shops and boutiques across the United States. From their studio in Orlando, their small but dedicated team continues to create thoughtfully illustrated goods that celebrate connection, joy, and everyday moments.

Our Mission

Bloomwolf Studio’s mission is to create joyful, thoughtfully illustrated goods that celebrate connection, honor everyday moments, and reflect the warmth, color, and emotional richness that shape who we are as a Latina-founded brand.

Rooted in storytelling, culture, and expressive design, we believe paper goods can be both beautiful and meaningful—that a greeting card, handwritten note, or illustrated object can help people feel seen, celebrated, and connected. Through vibrant color palettes, playful illustration, and hand lettering, we create products that bring personality and heart into modern homes, workspaces, and gift-giving moments.

As a Latina-owned studio, we embrace color, feeling, and perspective in ways that feel authentic to our creative voice. We are intentional about designing products that are warm, expressive, and at times socially conscious—pieces that communicate joy, hope, acceptance, and care without compromise.

We believe art has the power to strengthen relationships, preserve memories, and shape culture in meaningful ways. Through every collection, our goal is to help foster connection while contributing to a more joyful, inclusive, and compassionate world.

Our Values

At Bloomwolf Studio, we believe art is both a powerful form of self-expression and a meaningful tool for raising awareness and inspiring social change. While the values we openly share may at times be seen as “too political” for a small business, we believe creativity and conviction can coexist, and that using our platform to advocate for what we believe is right is both intentional and necessary.

At Bloomwolf Studio we believe:

  • all people should be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or immigration status, and practice this inside and outside our business everyday.
  • Black lives matter, and we strive to be anti-racist by learning and speaking out against racism, discrimination, and oppression. We also donate to organizations dedicated to fighting racial injustice, quarterly.
  • love is love and trans rights are human rights and we donate to organizations that provide support services for LGBTQ+ youth in need.
  • women have the right to choose what happens to their bodies and that abortion is health care, and we create artwork that supports these values and donate to organizations defending these rights.
  • science is real and climate change is real and we try to do our part in protecting the planet by using FSC-certified paper for all of our products, envelopes made of 100% recycled paper, working with printers that are environmentally conscious, and using biodegradable packaging and recycled materials when fulfilling orders.
  • in using our business to try and help the community, and we create products that are used for fundraising and donating to organizations dedicated to fighting racial injustice, organizations that provide important services to those in need, and organizations dedicated to defending the individual rights of every person in this country.
  • that healthcare and education should be universal, and families should be kept together.

We will continue to strive for the betterment of our business and community, and appreciate your support. We are proud to serve you and to have customers like you.
